Turkey opens its first Central Africa mall in Cameroon

The Turcam Hall, Turkish commercial space built on 7,000 m2 in Mvan neighborhood on the outskirts of Yaounde, officially opened on Sept. 20, 2014, reports the Turkish news agency Anadolu.

The Turcam Hall, "a first in Central Africa, covers an area of about 4,100 square meters and an outdoor area of 3,200 square.

It has all the international standards and facilities for exhibitions, conferences, symposia and other international trade shows, "says Baris Ertan, the technical director of Turcam, which invested one billion CFA francs (2 million dollars) in this gigantic shopping mall.

To be more specific, Baris Ertan says this shopping center has "facilities such as cafeterias, a business center, a conference room, a shuttle bus or private transportation, interpretation services and security. Turcam Hall is the perfect venue for exhibitions of heavy and bulky items such as industrial and agricultural machinery. "

From September 24, 2014, this Turkish shopping center in Yaounde, the first in Central Africa, will host a trade fair of Turkish products which will host fifty Cameroon companies.
