Society of petroleum turnover increased by 44% from 2009-2013

The Director General of Cameroonian Society of Petroleum Deposits (SCDP), Gaston Essomba Eloundou has disclosed that the petroleum turnover has increased by 44% from 2009-2013.

He made this revelation in Douala on November 14, 2014, during the ceremony marking the installation of the nw Cameroonian State Company DGA, Florent Frimat. “SCDP also directed a net profit of 12.69 billion CFA francs over the same period. Profits reached its peak in 2011 (3.9 billion francs FC ') and 2013 (3.3 billion CFA francs)”, stressed the DG.

According to Eloundou, these were made possible by strengthening the operational capacities of the storekeeper of petroleum products. However, over the period between 2010-2013, the SCDP built four tanks with a capacity of 24,000 metres storage cubes of petroleum products.
