SCTM domestic gas on sale in Yaounde

Since the beginning of the week of April 4, 2016, the supply of SCTM domestic gas has resumed in some parts of the city of Yaounde.

Only 60 gas bottles were intended for the depot of the Polytechnique neighborhood in Yaounde VI. Customers had already lost hope. Most of them had visited over two depots and outlets.

Theodore Enyenga was bitter. He was at the main distribution point of SCTM gaze at the Mvan neighborhood before being advised to follow the Polytechnique distribution truck.

There was still no possibility of procuring the goods, after hours of exploring the city. “I’m disappointed. I take my gas bottle back, hoping to have the product at the right time," he lamented in the national daily newspaper Cameroon Tribune of April 6, 2016.

At the Carrière neighborhood, there was no sign of the availability of the SCTM gas. Customers had invaded the depot. “While some were sitting on the ground, others gathered in places nearby, pending distribution,” the newspaper wrote. The filing agent remained indifferent, saying he could not know if they will be served.

At the Miniferm neighborhood, we were told that business was slow. No trace of the SCTM gas at the Mvan depot. The company personnel loaded gas bottles into trucks for depots around the city. One also has to show some begging skills to be served.
