Public procurement saves 250 million Fcfa in the East

36 projects have already been approved out of the 203 projects from the BIP, according to the assessment of the work at the regional delegation of the procurement of the East made September 30, 2014, at the end of the third quarter of the current year.

And the balance is satisfactory for projects in the public investment budget and priority investment projects. Regional delegation of procurement is allowed to achieve budgetary savings of about F 247,670,927.

For the programming launched in January, 203 projects are concerned at the East. To date, 195 contracts are awarded, representing an allocation of 96%. "It has received 123 notice of invitation to tender for the Masters works and the delegated owners. The launch rate is 100%. The number of signed contracts is 176 203 projects, representing a signing rate of 87%. "The number of orders reported is 174, an 86% reporting rate", explains Mahaman, regional delegate of public markets at the East.

Regarding the PIP established last may, 32 projects are retained. 27 contracts are already awarded, representing an allocation of 84.38% rate. The number of drafts of DAO expected is 26; "all these notice of call for tenders have been launched, representing a 100% launch rate", added our source.

The number of signed contracts is of 14 projects, representing a 44% signing rate. The number of service notified order is nine, representing a rate of notification of 28%. The budgetary savings for the PIP is F 26 467 269.

Government procurement made savings of 228 085 229 francs for BIP and Pip projects. The execution of the fieldwork indicated that 36 projects have been approved on a total of 203 projects.

And the overall performance of the work rate is 43% for financial consumption by 15%, up till September 30, 2014. However, this table is a little tarnished through projects funded by the funds of the municipalities. The 85 projects in the 33 municipalities in the East, 23 contracts were awarded, representing an allocation of 27% rate.

Six contracts are signed for a signature of 7% rate. And 27 notice of invitation to tender launched, representing a rate of launch of 34%. The budget savings is F 19 561916. Only four contracts are awarded and a contract signed. And the saving made is 23,782 f. "the low percentage of procurement at the level of projects funded by funds of the municipalities is explained by the non-transmission of the drafts. And these are immature projects which should in the future require validation by the guardianship, the availability of funding to support projects to program" analysed Mahaman.
