Promote becomes biennial from February 2017

The international fair of entrepreneurship, SMEs and partnership, known as "Promote", will be held every two years after the sixth edition, scheduled for February 2017.

The announcement was made earlier this week, at the launch of Promote 2014 by the president of the Inter-progress Foundation, Pierre Zumbach, and recalled yesterday during the program «Parole d’homme» on the private television channel 2 International.

Originally programmed on a triennial basis since its inception in 2002, Promote will change the frequency due to a need expressed by businesses, which judged the time between two editions long enough, explained Pierre Zumbach, whose Foundation is organizing the event.

Unable to keep each year, for an optimal organization, the Inter-Progress Foundation has suggested to the Government to keep all two years after the sixth edition, which will be held three years after the 2014 edition.

Another major change from the point of view of the periodicity, the Lounge will no longer place in the first half of December, but in February, from 2017.

And for good reason: many foreign entrepreneurs are unable to travel during the month of December, due to the high activity recorded during the end of the year. There is need to find a period to be able to satisfy everyone, said the organizer of Promote.
