The 3rd International Forum of SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises), PMExchange ended on Wednesday, December 9 in Douala.

For five days, the exhibitors were examined and each proved their potential based on the sector. On Wednesday, which was the closing date, there was a decline in the number of visitors who pushed the first entrepreneurs to make the cards early afternoon.

Satisfaction

According to the Mutations newspaper, yesterday, there was a general satisfaction among the many companies who took part in this meeting. This is the case of TRADEX SA "We are completely satisfied. We had public support through our competitions and our stand on the site of Pmexchange."

The game was to play in our resorts with an amount more than or equal to 25,000 FCFA and then the draw. And you had to come retrieve your lot in our stand on the site. We got through that, a passion on behalf of the public," welcomed Mbond Calvin, head of communications at TRADEX, for which the forum has assured his company popularity and in terms of visibility.

Lack of popularity

Mutations Newspaper also noted that for some contractors, attendance has been fair in this edition.

"At the outset, I would say that the balance is positive. However, it is worse than the previous editions. Because the success of a fair like this is measured by the attendance," insisted Professor Leopold G. Lehman, CEO of Santec Central Africa.

For the latter, the forum organization was good, no false notes, but a discouraging attendance. "An SME fair should be attended by a much larger population. The popular aspect should be emphasized. The popular side should be emphasized. Who says SMEs should see the popular side," suggested Leopold G. Lehman for future editions.

Under the theme "SME manufacturing jobs and crucible of innovation", the 3rd edition of PMExchange opened last Saturday in the presence of Minister Laurent Serge Etoundi Ngoa.

It ended with a gala evening at Castell Douala hall with the presentation of E.cam by President and Commissioner of the event. It included the Grand Innovation Award, among others.
