A senior official of the subcontracting and partnership Bourseof Cameroon disclosed that Moroccan economic mission composed of 100 companies will arrive in Cameroon on October 22, 2015.

These companies will operate in the electricity, electronics, and renewable energy sectors.

"This mission is part of the strengthening of economic and trade relations between Morocco and Cameroon, after the successes achieved by previous editions of the Moroccan-Cameroonian events held in Douala in 2010 and 2012," reported the newspaper Le Quotidien de l’économie on Monday, October 12, 2015.

According to the journal, "it aims at capitalizing on the identified potentials between economic operators which were encountered in previous editions of the Moroccan-Cameroonian days, for the strengthening of the flow of trade and the development of the partnership between the two countries".

Thus, from October 22 to 23 2015, the delegation will meet with businessmen, representatives of the government and institutions of Cameroon. Also, B to B meetings between Moroccan participants and their counterparts from Cameroon's private sector are also planned.

According to Evariste Yameni, Director of the BSTP-CMR, this rich program will allow "SMEs in electrical sector, electronics, renewable energies, of cold and air-conditioning to initiate ways of collaboration and partnership with Moroccan peer companies that have proven their experience in these areas".

About the balance of economic and commercial exchanges between Cameroon and Morocco these past six years, the newspaper said "that they have experienced a clear evolution with a volume of trade of 25.5 billion against 12 billion FCFA in 2007; an increase of 100% in 6 years."
