Mincommerce establishes user guide for its services

The document that fit in the context of administrative reform was officially handed over to the Minister Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana Wednesday in Yaounde.

Where to move, who to contact and how? The user requesting the services of the Ministry of Commerce (Mincommerce) may now have all these indications through the user guide which the administration has just developed.

The development of this tool comes as part of administrative reforms prescribed by the Prime Minister, the national programme of governance led to the satisfaction of the Minister of public service and administrative reform (Minfopra).

Michel Ange Angouing submitted the official copies of the document to the Minister Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana Wednesday at a ceremony in Yaounde.

In 2013, a team consisting of experts from the Secretariat of the administrative reform and those of the Mincommerce committed to develop the Mincommerce user guide. It has been validated by the Scientific Committee and the Steering Committee in 2014.

For Minister Michel Ange Angouing, Mincommerce has thus acquired a tool of governance that will upgrade its operation. "This user guide contains major assets. It will help the transparency of the public service, the fight against corruption and improving the performance of services", he said.

Mincommerce user's guide is placed on 45 pages. There are procedures with courses in the Department, 19 procedures of decentralized services and 26 regarding central services.

There are, among others, the title of the Act or the requested delivery, the initiator of the proceedings, reference texts, requirements and deadlines for the processing of the file.

Instead of a speech, the Minister Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana rather issued a message of appreciation and gratitude to the joint team Mincommerce-Minfopra for producing the "high quality” work.

According Mincommerce, the document will be made available to officials of the Ministry for education and involvement of all personnel who will become more competent.
