MTN Cameroon has rewarded airtime retailers recording the highest sales with about FCFA 100 million and a host of other prizes.

Ceremonies to reward the best airtime retailers have been taking place at the MTNC Service Centres recently,under the coordination of the Regional Managers (Cyrille NKOAL for the Littoral, Amadou Bello for the Centre, Jean Bassek for the East, Caroline Bineng for the West and Northwest and Leon Ottou for the Southwest).

The best airtime retailers from the above regions were selected through a competition dubbed, “Labour Day Call Box Challenge, an initiative to improve the sales performance of airtime retailers.

MTNC, on the sidelines ofthe 2016 Labour Day celebrations, sought to create a healthy competition among these business partners to enable the most deserving to reach significant transaction volumes.

The target was for the callbox operators to reach a performance level of at least 10percent of their habitual average to benefit from the competition.
About 80,000 callbox operators participated in this challenge and all the operators continue receiving prizes in proportion to their performance.

In addition to airtime and intermediary prizes offered to the entire challengers, “85 Top performers” received refrigerators, plasma TV screens, gas cookers and other prizes.

According to Roger Minoue, Retail & Channel Manager, MTN Cameroon; “The support we provide our business partners seeks to increase their profitability since, the stronger they are, the stronger we are as well”.

The campaign shall soon be extended to the northern Regions.
