Dr. Acha Leke: Acclaimed Business Strategist

Acha Leke is one of Cameroon's gems in the Diaspora. He is based in South Africa as Senior Partner of McKinsey & Company, a Johannesburg-based management consulting firm. As Director in McKinsey's Johannesburg's office, he works with public, private and social sector institutions to accelerate growth and development in Africa. He is also a member of the Mckinsey Global Institute (MGI) Council and advises MGI on research related to productivity, competitiveness and growth, particularly in African economies.

He started his McKinsey career as a summer associate in the Johannesburg office in 1998. After serving in the firm's offices in Atlanta and Lagos he returned to South Africa in 2014 to lead McKinsey's expansion efforts across Francophone Africa. Acha serves governments, multinational organizations, and private sector institutions across Africa on issues of economic development, growth strategies, holistic transformations and investment decisions.

Henry Aszklar: Expert en énergie

Ade Ayeyemi: Ecobank's Experienced Helm

When Ade Ayeyemi took over as Group Chief Executive Officer of Ecobank Transnational Incorporated in September 2015, may saw the take-off of the famous bank to a higher level. Ade Ayeyemi's awesome track record had preceded him. The experienced banker had served as Chief Operating Officer of the Sub-Saharan Africa Division at Citigroup Inc based in Johannesburg after serving as Director of Citibank Nigeria Limited.

The Chartered Accountant graduated from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree with First Class Honours before pursuing postgraduate studies in the University of London. He is an alumnus of Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Programme. Under his leadership, Ecobank Transnational Incorporate, the parent company of the Ecobank Group, continues to trend as the leading pan-African bank with operations in 36 countries across the continent.

Serge Yanic Nana, Monsieur le conseiller

C'est en tant qu'expert que Serge Yanic Nana intervient auprès du gouvernement camerounais. Il est, en effet, le chef de file des Conseils (Lead Advisor) et le Conseil financier du Gouvernement dans la mise en œuvre du projet minier du fer de Mbalam, ainsi que dans le cadre du développement du projet de bauxite et d'alumine de Ngaoundal/Minim-Martap.

Le secteur minier, le financement de projets et d'infrastructures ainsi que la finance d'entreprise sont les domaines de prédilection de ce titulaire d'un Master en mathématiques de l'Université de Paris Diderot (Paris) et d'un Master en actuariat de l'Université de Concordia à Montréal. Aujourd'hui, Serge Yanic Nana est président directeur général de Financia Capital après avoir travaillé pour BMCE Capital, la filiale banque d'affaires du groupe marocain BMCE Bank. Il y a occupé les postes de directeur général adjoint et de directeur général respectivement pour les bureaux d'Afrique de l'Ouest et d'Afrique Centrale.

Tony Elumelu: Visionary Entrepreneur

Nigerian-born 53-year old Tony Elumelu's fame rose to global business community's scrutiny when New African magazine listed him in 2011 as one of the 100 most influential people in Africa. Forbes Magazine took the relay in 2012 recognising him as one of "Africa's 20 Most Powerful People in 2012". The economist by training, visionary entrepreneur and philanthropist is Chairman of one of Africa's most reputed banks, the United Bank for Africa (UBA) which he transformed five years after its creation in 2005 from a single-country bank to a pan-African institution with over seven million customers in 19 African countries.

He retired in 2010 to set up Heirs Holding which invests in the financial services, energy, real estate and hospitality, agribusiness, and healthcare sectors. His now trending initiative, Tony Elumelu Foundation, took roots the same year as an African-based and African-funded philanthropic organization dedicated to the promotion of excellence in business leadership and entrepreneurship and to enhancing the competitiveness of the private sector across Africa with initiatives like The Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Program.

Mohamed El Kettani: Le banquier maison

Mohamed El Kettani fait partie des personnalités les plus en vue dans son pays, le Maroc. A 57 ans, l'homme d'affaires dirige, en effet, Attijariwafa Bank, leader marocain et une des plus cotées sur le continent. Ce diplômé de l'École nationale supérieure de techniques avancées (Paris) a gravi tous les échelons de l'univers de la banque dès les années 80. C'est dire si sa nomination comme PDG d'Attijariwafa en 2007 n'a surpris personne.

Mohamed El Kettani est lauréat, dans le secteur de l'économie, du prestigieux Trophée de la diplomatie publique, en novembre 2011, pour sa contribution non-politique et non-gouvernementale au rayonnement du Maroc à l'étranger. Il faut dire que Mohamed El Kettani a su faire face à la concurrence de plus en plus féroce dans le domaine, en assurant les acquis de sa banque.

Nino Njopku, Emerging Cybermarket Guru

Cameroon's entry into the digital age has undoubtedly been spearheaded by a rare breed of daring youths operating from Cameroon and abroad to give the country visibility on the digital map. One of such youths is Nino Njopku, co-founder of the general classified adverts site Kerawa.com, Nino Njopku. He mounted the site for classified adverts of all kinds which enables people to post offers for job opportunities, products, services on the internet website so that millions of internet visitors in search of such information can make informed choices.

Kerawa.com is considered one of the best of its kind given in the Cameroonian internet marketplace with over 1.5 million visitors monthly. After relying on their private funds to sustain the site, Njopku and his co-founder reportedly raised funds from the promoters of a real estate classified ads platform in May 2015, which is helping Kerawa.com gain more traction, improve its web and mobile experience and set up offices in Douala, Abidjan and Kinshasa. His dream is to make Kerawa a pan-African classified ads site for just about everything and focuses to help small and medium-size enterprises in Africa grow by helping them sign up more clients.

Bruno Mettling, docteur ès gestion humaine

Né en 1958, Bruno Mettling est directeur général adjoint en charge de zone Afrique et Moyen-Orient d'Orange depuis le 1er mars 2016. Un poste qui vient couronner une carrière plutôt riche pour le Français au sein de la société de téléphonie mobile. S'il arrive à Orange en 2010 en tant que directeur exécutif en mission auprès du directeur général en charge de l'emploi, des compétences et d'Orange Campus, Bruno Mettling va très vite être nommé directeur des ressources humaines du groupe.

Et là, il améliore grandement les conditions de travail, apaisant un climat social quelque peu tendu grâce notamment au manque de dialogue social. Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur et Chevalier de l'Ordre national du Mérite, le Français avait commencé sa carrière dans l'administration à la direction du budget du ministère des Finances et dans d'autres structures ministérielles avant de rejoindre l'univers de la finance.
