Gulf Steel Industries to create 1000 jobs in CMR

US-Cameroonian company Gulf Steel Industries (GSI), which is about to launch a metallurgical processing plant in the South-West Cameroon, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Employment Fund (FNE) for technical support in the recruitment of 800 employees needed to start the industrial unit in the town of Ombe.

With this agreement, the FNE, based on details provided by Gulf Steel Industries, will make available for job seekers and skilled workers positions in the company, said Camille MOUTHE to Bidias, CEO of FNE.

This search for local workers, said Sigalla Prella Clever, CEO of Gulf Steel Industries, is an implementation of the investment agreement signed between the company and the government of Cameroon in July 20, 2012.
