The illegally installed travel agencies have been ordered by the government to pay for the site arranged for them at Sodiko-Bonabéri.

This decision was reaffirmed yesterday, October 21, by the prefect of Wouri. Naseri Paul Bea, who gave a briefing on the issue at Bonanjo, He invited developers to help authorities carry out their sanitation work.

Returning to the cases recorded in Bessengue and Bepanda neighbourhoods, the prefect noted that these agencies were causing many traffic jams and however, had no place at these locations, according to the urban plan.

Returning to the case of the agency "General Travels" (installed at Bepanda), which received a reprieve; the prefect said its promoter had a permit from the Cud in August 2011. Also, it agreed locally with the significant investments.

That said, this agency will eventually join the site at Sodiko. But this "promoter of good faith," will be given "some time". After Douala I and Douala V, sanitation operations on this point should soon be extended to other districts of the city.
