Fuel Prices: Urban transporters to go on strike

Unions of urban transporters are planning to go on strike soon to demand lower fuel prices.

The carriers required that the government lower fuel prices across the country after it was increased in July 2015.

The price of a litre of Super increased from FCFA 568 to FCFA 650; Diesel was increased from FCFA 520 to FCFA 600 per liter.

The gas cylinder of 12 kg had increased from FCFA 500, from FCFA 6000 to FCFA 6500.
