FEICOM Hqtrs : MINATD satisfied with rate of construction

The Minister of Territorial Administration and Decentralization has visited the site last week.

By leaving the construction site of the future headquarters building of the Special Fund of equipment and inter-action (FEICOM) last Wednesday at Mimboman neighborhood in Yaounde, René Emmanuel Sadi was impressed by the progress of work. According to Minister of Territorial Administration and Decentralization, also chairman of this structure, timeliness is good. The building will have 182 offices, a large hall, a conference room, several meeting rooms, a documentation center, an archive room, a server room and several common areas including an infirmary, a restaurant and gym.

The building will also have two elevator shafts and a fire safety device. Built on an area of 5.11 hectares with the support of the Chinese cooperation, the future FEICOM headquarters building will cost nearly 8 billion. Launched on December 4, 2014, the building will be delivered on April 2017 and the rate of progress is 45%.
