Cooking gas: SCTM steps up supply

The agreement signed this 3rd October, 2016 comes to put an end to a trade row that existed between both parties.

Both parties agreed that they will resume the distribution of SCTM gas bottles at accredited centres at the approved price of 6500 for a 12.5 kg bottle

Broker of the deal, the Minister of Trade, Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana used the meeting to warn against distributors against siphoning or withholding of gas bottles so as to create artificial scarcity or to manipulate prices.

These the Minister noted, will not be tolerated, reason he has sent out control teams to patrol the quarters and get hold of offenders.
