Civil society creates website to monitor public investment projects

Public investment projects in the centre region will henceforth be monitored on-line. A website to facilitate the monitoring has been created by a Non-Governmental Organisation - ASSOAL in partnership with Feicom.

The technique involves surveillance and follow-up of the level of execution of different projects and the results published on the website: www.citizencontrol.cm.org

In view of the online monitoring process launch, a training course organized for civil society and municipal council representatives in the region was organized.

Experts have agreed that the new technology will contribute in enhancing good governance, transparency and efficiency in the execution of public Investment Budgets.
