China Road and Bridge Corporation wins new contract from Maetur

The Chinese company, China Road and Bridge Corporation, has just been declared awardee for the construction of realization of the work of storm water drainage, road networks and roads coating.

This will be for the first phase of the project for the construction of social housing in Mbanga Bakoko, on the outskirts of Douala, the economic capital of Cameroon.

This contract awarded by the Planning and Maintenance Mission of Urban and Rural Land (Maetur), according to the communiqué made public by the Director General of the State structure, Louis Roger Manga, cumulates to an amount of 765 million FCFA. The delivery must be carried out within a period of 8 months, he said.

As a reminder, in February 2015, the same Chinese company was assigned by Maetur two contracts of the same type, on the project of construction of social housing at Olembé, town in the outskirts of Yaoundé. The amount of the two markets was 1.7 billion FCFA.
