Cami to supply 35 pick-ups to Bucrep

The Central Census and Population’s Studies Office (Bucrep) will receive, over a one year period, 35 pick-up vehicles. These vehicles will be supplied by Cameropn Motors Industries (Cami), the leading car dealership in the country, for a total of FCfa 740 million, we officially learn.

This big order of vehicles for Bucrep is part of the preparations for the 4th general census of the Cameroonian population, announced by presidential decree in September 2015, and whose preparations have been underway since the beginning of the year.

According to Bucrep’s management, this census should help create, gradually, about 30,000 temporary jobs.
