Camair-Co reacts to sanctions,says it’s unjustified

The national airline, has responded to the suspension of flights to the European Union (EU), which has been given by the Cameroon Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA).

In a letter addressed to Edgard Alain Mebe Ngo’o, Cameroon’s Minister of Transport, Jean Paul Nana Sandjo, CEO of Camair-Co, who reacts to the decision of the CCAA, denounces “inaccurate” reasons.

In his reaction, the top management of Camair-Co, says the decision of Paule Koki Assoumou, DG of the CCAA is “inappropriate and unjustified.” He likens to an “abuse of authority“.

For him, Camair-Co has “violated no laws, rules and other texts which govern the exercise of civil aviation in Cameroon.”

Jean Paul Nana Sandjo, also called the head of the Ministry of Transport in Cameroon, to intervene at the CCAA, he refers to the sanction imposed on Camair-Co as “unjustified“.

As a reminder, the Cameroon Aeronautics Authority has suspended flights of Camair-Co, to the airports of the European Union, on the advice of the Third country operator (TCO) of the European Agency for Safety of aviation (EASA) for incomplete air transport certificate (CTA).
