The Cameroonian railway carrier, Camrail, has awarded Foure Lagadec Cameroon and Socatraf (Central African inland water Transport Company), three contracts with a total value of more than 2.4 billion FCFA for the rehabilitation of 13 railway bridges on the Cameroonian railway network, an official statement revealed.
Foure Lagadec group were contracted with two deals worth more than 1.3 billion FCFA, for works to be completed on the Yaoundé-Ngaoundéré highway (8, 746 million FCFA), and Edea (5, 449 million FCFA) railway.
Socatraf, Central African subsidiary of Group Bolloré Africa Logistics, won as a contract for a little more than one billion FCFA, the realization of rehabilitation of railway bridges on the Yaoundé-Ngaoundéré highway.
