Bollore group to take over the Port of Kribi

The Vincent Bollore Group aka Bollore Africa Logistics that controls the Douala port is now the favorite to take over the container terminal at the newly constructed port of Kribi.

Cameroon Concord gathered that the Group Bollore is coming through the back door using its Chinese associates CHEC and CMA CGM groups.

A Prime Ministerial Order by Yang Philemon puts the Bollore Group as the leading contender to win the contract to exploit and develop the container terminal.

Our source revealed that three enterprises are in the pre selection process: Bollore/CMA, CGM/CHEC consortium, the Ictsi Group from Philippines and the Danish APM Terminals BV based in Holland.

Bollore Africa Logistics has constantly stifled Cameroon businesses through a made in France congestion at the Douala port. The group runs many ports in Africa and its owner Vincent Bollore is reportedly behind the many political crisis going on in Francophone Africa.
