Bajaj to build 20 mechanic workshops in Cameroon

K.S. Grihapathy, African Vice President of Bajaj Indian firm, has stated the company's plans to "develop at least 20 mechanic workshops in Cameroon" in the short term.

"We want to train technicians, strengthen their capacities, and make them the best engineers in the country. So that, they can in turn create jobs," he said.

The head of the Indian producer of two and three-wheeled vehicles made the announcement in Douala, during a recent ceremony of presentation of a new range of motorcycles more efficient which would better suite the needs of the people.

To sell these products on the Cameroonian market, Bajaj retained the services of Deelite. "We have agreed to market the Bajaj products because we believe that the return on investent for a client is better than elsewhere", said Rakesh Punjabi, the General Manager of the company.
