ADB accords fifty billion for the Cameroon industry sector

Cameroon will soon get funding from the African Development Bank (ADB) for an amount of 50 billion CFA francs to boost its industrial sector.

This envelope will help increase processing activities in the areas of horticulture and plantain, in order to increase the incomes of the producers. As a prelude to the materialization of this project, the Ministry of Agriculture and rural development undertook a tour in some production areas to assess their potential.

This program will be added to the Programme of investment and development of agricultural markets (PIDMA), funded this time by the World Bank, amounting to 50 billion CFA francs.
