25 companies benefit from equipment

Some 25 companies have benefitted from equipment from the Office of Upgrading Enterprises (Bmn), in its operational phase of the object plane it created on Thursday, September 3, 2015 in Douala.

Chantal Elombat Mbedey, its director, and the president of the Chamber of Commerce, Christophe Eken, have signed a partnership agreement which now links the two institutions.

At the same time, the Bmn embarked on a second contract with 25 private enterprises beneficiaries, to support their process of adjustment to global competition.

Each company concerned is obliged, explained Ms. Elombat, to progress by using intangible investments and materials to meet international standards. Especially in terms of accounting and financial procedures, management strategies, hygiene practices in manufacturing processes, etc.

Naturally, this upgrade also includes the acquisition of materials adapted to the rhythm imposed by the competition.

For these two types of investments, the state provides assistance through Bmn. It responds suddenly to a pressing need by preparing Cameroonian companies to face very competitive challengers who will not fail to enjoy the amended regulations of international trade, causing the dismantling of exchanges of preferred areas and whose national economy has benefited.

Hence the importance for the consular chamber to join the Bmn to equip brains and factories of local businesses. Computer equipment to be used for the new administration of the beneficiaries, according to the universal canons now practiced in the field, were also given by the Bmn.
