2016 Budget: Execution begins

The Minister of Finance, Alamine Ousmane Mey, yesterday signed a document to make the 2016 budget effective, from January 1, 2016.

The budget increased in revenues and expenditures from FCFA 3.7466 trillion in 2015 to FCFA 4.2347 trillion. The increase was FCFA 503 billion.

This is good news for service providers who often waited for the 3rd or 4th month of the year to carry out their transactions with the state.
