Ramadan 2015: Solidarity increases amongst Muslim faithful

Needy Muslim families will by this Thursday, 16th July 2015 receive special packages, proceeds of a collection from average and rich families.

The special donation referred to as “Zakat Al Fitr” is an obligatory charity move to be paid at the end of the Ramadan fast, according to the Muslim faith.

The donations will improve on the destitute families’ feeding during the celebration of the Feast of Ramadan (Eid Al Fitr) at the end of the fast.

The noble gesture this year was orchestrated by a league of Cameroonian graduates from Arabic and Islamic Universities in Yaounde.

The gifts consisting of items including rice, sugar, corn, tea and a lot more will be distributed to poor Muslim families in the North West, Centre, East and Littoral regions.
