PCC Ntamulung-Bamenda New Pastor Inducted

Rev. Besong Johnson Tabe replaces late Rev. Kenji Zephaniah murdered in August 2011.

Rev. Besong Johnson Tabe has been inducted as the new parish pastor for Presbyterian Church, PC, Ntamulung and the presbytery secretary for Mezam. While inducting him, PCC moderator Rev.

Dr Festus Ambe Asana reminded Rev. Besong Johnson Tabe of the task of luring Christians to follow the good ways of Christ and encourage fellowship in PC Ntamulung. Some Christians have left after the gruesome murder of the former presbytery secretary and parish pastor of PC Ntamulung Rev. Kenji Zephaniah in August 2011. The post had been vacant as the PCC was trying to mend fences for it was alleged that the Rev. Kenji was murdered by another pastor of the PCC.

Rev. Dr Festus Ambe Asana called on the Christians to help the new pastor succeed. In his homily on the theme "Do your work in Quietness", he drew inspiration from the book of II Thessalonians 3:6-13. Rev. Dr Festus Ambe Asana urged Christians of PC Ntamulung to never be discouraged no matter the prosecution. He also urged Christians to allow their pastor do his work in quietness and avoid gossiping.

Rev. Besong Johnson Tabe stated his awareness of the task ahead of him and promised to do his best to lead the Christians. The 53-year-old has held several posts of responsibility in the PCC. He originates from Manyu division in the South West Region, married and a father of four.
