FCFA 73 billion to enhance regional health services

Accordingly, the world Bank make available the loan to improve on the health system with special emphasis on the upgrading of Health Centres and Hospitals especially neonatal health care, services.

The agreement was signed between the Minister of the Economy Planning and Regional Development Louis Paul Motaze and the Director of Operations of the World Bank Elisabeth Huybens.

According to the agreement, this project which is in its second phase shall focus on delivery healthcare services in the three northern Regions of Cameroon.

The pilot phase of the project was executed in the Littoral, South West, North West and the East Regions of Cameroon.
