Poliomyelitis Immunization: Campaign caravan goes to the Littoral Region

The eighth round of the Immunization Campaign against Polio will be launched today 19th September 2014 in Douala.

The vaccination campaign will be carried out in two phases. The first phase takes place from September 19-21 while the second phase has been scheduled for 31st October to 2nd November 2014.

The medical team shall immunize children at homes, markets, churches, motorways, schools, toll gates and all areas in the Littoral Region.

The polio immunization campaign targets more than six hundred thousand children of 0 to 59 months.

Children who had previously been administered this vaccine are still eligible.
