Health ministry creates mobile consultation services

A medical service consultations by phone short messages ( SMS) has been created by the Cameroon Ministry of Health and a mobile operator, we learned Saturday from official sources.

Called " Myhealthline " it is presented as a way to make available to the largest number of reliable people information from health professionals, confidentially.

The tests available by this service accessible to all 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. every day of the week are malaria, sexuality - contraception, sexually transmitted infections and HIV / AIDS.

At a cost of 200 FCFA, the client phone operator sends his request to a short number of dedicated access, then a concern anonymised request is sent to a medical facility made up of professionals.

The response is issued to the client, after analysis of physicians within 1 hour
