Koumate’s death: Kah Walla calls for immediate action

Political figures have started reacting to the sad incident at the Laquintinie Hospital in Douala that saw the sister of a deceased woman, perform surgery in a “crude way” using a razor blade, to remove two babies, after doctors decided not to touch the corpse of the lady claiming there wasn’t enough money.

According to recent updates, the two babies did not survive. Many Cameroonians on social media feel very sad about this incident, especially when the MINSANTE called on doctors and health personnel some weeks ago to take care of patients first during emergencies, and ask for money 24hours later!

Many people wish the hospital should be sued immediately, not excluding Kah Walla, who went to her twitter account express herself on the issue. Read her tweets below!

We will lead. We need you to follow. The action is against the entire system. Hospitals all over Cameroon do this.

It is not a singular problem; it is a systemic one. Monique is one amongst thousands of victims.
We need to act for all of them and all of us!,” Kah Walla tweets.
