Eto’o opens Everton’s goal account against Chelsea

Everton’s new boy, Samuel Eto’o took only six minutes to score his first goal for his new club against former club Chelsea in their 3-6 defeat at home on Saturday, in match day 3 of the Premier League.

Eto’o lost Chelsea skipper, John Terry to score his first goal for his new club at the 76th minute of play by, heading home a Baines’ free-kick.

Chelsea opened scores after 34 seconds of play with Spanish hitman Diego Costa putting his side in the lead, while Branislav Ivanovic increasing tally 2 minutes after.

With just some few minutes into break, Kevin Mirallas reduced the gap for, but an own goal from Seamus Coleman in the 67th minute increase tally back to 1-3.

Steven Naismith will however put the Toffees back in the game 69th minute of the game, but Nemanja Matic extended the lead for Chelsea in the 74th minute.

However, Everton’s new number 5 reduced the gap by heading home a Baines’ free-kick.

Unluckily for the Toffees, the Blues added to their misery with two more goals by Ramires (78’) and Diego Costa (90’) to seal a thrilling 6-3 away win.
