Amazon FAP FC has incredulously surprised Green City FC in an early day three game of the Cameroon women championship staged at the FECAFOOT Technical Training Center Thursday April 21.

Down to 10 before the end of the encounter, Amazon FAP FC opened scores at the first minutes through Rose Michelle. Her goal at one minute, forty–five seconds remains outstanding as the fastest goal since the championship began.

Thirteen minutes later, Nkou Gislaine doubled scores while Bertha Prudence concluded the goal chart for Amazon FC at the 23 minutes.

Going for recess on a deficit, Green City bounced back beautifully as team captain, Tiam Tiam Alexandre reduced the deficit at the 50th minutes to give one for her team and three for Amazon FAP FC.

A determined Green City side couldn’t move a step forward even with the red card awarded to Amazon FC goalkeepr at the 63 minutes. At full time Amazon FAP carried the day on a score of 3-1.

Talking to the coach of Amazon FAP FC, Moussogo told Lions4life measures taken to prepare and their tactics put in place to ensure victory.
“We know that it was going to be a difficult match, so we prepared well and we are still going to prepare well for the next match. The championship is long and we hope to do better,” stated Moussogo, coach of Amazon FAP.

The early match was scheduled to enable the Japan Ambassador to Cameroon and the delegation from the Japanese football federation evaluate the level of Cameroon women local championship.

In other day three games, Louves Minproff FC is set to clash against Canon Girls on Saturday April 23, at the FECAFOOT Technical Center in Yaounde while on Sunday April 24 in Garoua, Panthere Security welcomes Femina Stars of Ebolowa. Social of Mbam takes on Djamboutou FC of Garoua, Vente du Nord vs Eclaire of Saa’a and in Bamenda Gentle Ladies are set to host ASFF Diamare of Garoua.
