The last two matches of the quarterfinals of the play-offs in the West Regional League football were played on October 11 at the municipal stadium in Bafoussam.

Renaissance distinguished itself for a possible qualification for the semi-final. Opposed to Volcan Fc of Foumbot, Hirondelle Fc of Fotouni, could not do better than a draw (1-1). The Haut-Nkam team was caught shortly after the start of the second round.

Fifteen minutes later, Hirondelle Fc of Fotouni handed the record straight. The second meeting ended on a large margin victory for Renaissance de Noun against Jeunesse Fc de Bafoussam (3-1). After conceding the first goal from the penalty spot, Renaissance recovered and equalized from the penalty spot before the 2nd and 3rd goals.

On Saturday, As Menoua de Dschang and Federal de Noun had made their debut in the competition with a bang. During the first quarter-final, As Menoua beat Cask de Bafoussam (3-1). The veteran, Kenfack Hervé was responsible for concluding the penalty obtained by the Dschang team for the opener.

After extra time, the losing finalist of the last edition of the playoffs, equalized against the academicians of Bafoussam. But Rodrigue Fodop's side found the resources to score two more goals. The second show on Saturday ended in favour of Federal Noun who faced Ndianbou Fc de Bafoussam.

After a cautious start of the match, the flagship of Noun scored during the first quarter, thanks to its center forward Nsangou. A few minutes before the final whistle, one of his team mates followed in his lead.

As Menoua and Federal and Renaissance took a reassuring lead over their opponents. The return legs are scheduled on Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at the municipal stadium in Bafoussam.

These playoffs will indeed designate the champion of the Western Region. This champion will play the accession zonal tournament in Ligue 2.
