Tottenham eyes Clinton Njie

Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a move for the Cameroonian talent, Clinton Njie who currently plays with Olympique Lyonnais to join the team which is ready to sign him for 2015-2016 season.

According to The Sun, the London club officials would sign a contract with their counterparts of the Rhone club for a possible transfer of Clinton Njie to England.

Tottenham is ready to break the bank and to propose, according to the British tabloid, 17 million Euros to secure the services of the Indomitable Lions winger.

However, it seems Lyon leaders are unwilling to cede their trio forwards of Fekir-Lacazette-Njie this season.

"We will not only do what it takes to keep them but we will also refuse all proposals that will ensue," said Jean-Michel Aulas.

The above statement suggests that these players are untransferable but the president of the OL could reconsider this decision over time, especially since the offer is enticing.

“The Cameroonian finished the season with 7 goals and 7 assists in 30 league 1 matches”, he added.
