Tottenham eyeing Chelsea striker Samuel Eto’o

Sources close to the English club side Tottenham Hotspur have hinted the club have set their sights on snapping up Chelsea striker Samuel Eto’o on a free transfer.

According to football direct news (FDN), the 33-year-old’s contract expires at the end of the season and there is little chance of him remaining at Stamford Bridge beyond the summer.

A source close to Spurs told FDN ex-Barcelona and Inter Milan hitman Eto’o tops a wishlist of strikers, with the north London outfit looking to add two forwards to their squad.

Indomitable Lions’ captain and Chelsea striker, Samuel Eto’o has plundered 11 goals in 33 appearances for Jose Mourinho’s side this term.

Eto’o has already ruled out a return to former club Inter, which has given Spurs further encouragement in their pursuit of the player. Earlier reports also suggest the world’s third most fortunate footballer will love to end his career with Mallorca, his former club.
