Samuel Eto’o set to decide between Ajax and Liverpool

Former Chelsea striker Samuel Eto'o is torn between a move to Dutch champions Ajax or staying in the Premier League with Liverpool.

Eto'o, who parted company with Chelsea at the end of last season, was at Ajax's Eredivisie clash against Vitesse last weekend, and has an offer on the table from Frank de Boer's men.

Ajax are hopeful Eto'o will agree to move to the Amsterdam ArenA, but De Boer knows Liverpool are dangerous rivals for the 33-year-old's signature. And according to Sky Italia, Ajax and Liverpool are the two options Eto'o is weighing up.

The former Barcelona hitman is now thinking long and hard about where he would like to play his football throughout 2014/15. Eto'o's main focus is on playing in the Champions League, a box both Ajax and Liverpool tick.

The striker was in action at this summer's World Cup for Cameroon, further showcasing his already well known talents.
