No holiday in Brazil for players, Volker Finke warns

Brazil may be known for its beaches and party atmosphere but Cameroon's players shouldn't expect a laid-back vacation when they travel to the World Cup in two weeks' time, their coach warned on Monday.
"It's a difficult group but we won't be there on holiday!" Volker Finke joked as his squad prepared to play Macedonia in a pre-World Cup friendly in Kufstein, Austria.
Cameroon, whose best performance in the finals was reaching the last eight in 1990, face hosts and favourites Brazil as well as Croatia and Mexico in Group A of the tournament which kicks off on June 12.
Before that, the team has been training in the peace and quiet – and fresh mountain air – of Walchsee in Austria's Tyrol region.
"This was the right choice because all the facilities are good... we can work as we wish," Finke told AFP.
His goal for the tournament was crystal clear: "We really want to make it to the second round, that's for sure."
Olympiakos defender Gaetan Bong agreed: "We're working hard to be ready for this World Cup."
"Of course the goal is to qualify (for the last 16) but for that we have to be ready and make sure we don't get injured."
"You have to take it one match at a time... we're already thinking a little bit about the World Cup games but we'll take each match as it comes," said the 26-year-old.
The group will be "very difficult... but it will be interesting. We have to prepare well so when we get there, we're tough and ready," he promised.
