Lions prepare must-win strategy for decisive group game

The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon once again had an average performance picking a 1-1 draw against Guinea Conakry's Syli nationale in their last round two matches in the ongoing 2015 AFCON.

The tie has been a bitter pill to swallow for diehard fans of the Lions who expected the team to show the same fighting spirit as they did during the qualifiers.

However amidst the disappointment, fans and football experts still strongly believe that with Wednesday’s last group D game, Cameroon's chances of qualification for the next round of the tournament are intact.

In this regard Head coach Volker Finke has since the last match organized two training sessions each intensive with the hope of building a must win strategy against Cote d’Ivoire.

The physical trainers and the medical team are leaving nothing to chance as Wednesday’s game is considered qualification rounds for both countries and group D member.

All four teams each having two points will be putting in their best to obtain a victory as they all have equal chances.

Only the two teams that will make the difference by scoring more goals and conceding few will pride themselves amongst the 8th finalist.

Fans hope that the teams firebrand striker, Njie Clinton who scored two key goals and exhibited professionalism to the taste of many during the qualifiers, but has been benched since the start of 2015 AFCON, may be given a chance to make to sail Cameroon to the knock out stage.
