Lions complicate their task

After the draw Saturday with Guinea, Cameroon will have to wait for the last day to be fixed on its fate.

"Another draw!!!!", exclaimed some viewers at the end of the second meeting of Group D Saturday against Guinea, a confrontation awaited by fans and observers in general with stronger expectation that this match was supposed to put an end to the suspense that prevailed after the first day without winner.

However, the physiognomy of this meeting was very different from the first contested against Mali.

The return from suspension of Stéphane Mbia led to a repositioning of the tactical device imposed by technical staff.

Cooked on his choice in a post-match press conference, coach Volker Finke attempted some explanation. Facing Guinea, Lions have alternated good and bad, illustrated by a more offensive game, but also with cracks in defence and their inability to keep the result.

The case of certain defenders and media who willingly abandon their favorite posts to project themselves forward looking for goals, betrayed a tactical indiscipline.

With four drawn matches, Group D promises to be one of the tightest and undecided. At the end of the first two days, all teams are now in perfect equality.

For the indomitable Lions, nothing is however lost. It remains the third game Wednesday against Ivory Coast, reason enough to immediately return to work.
