Lions: Training gets serious in Paris

Alexandre Belinga led his first training session as the main coach of the Indomitable Lions this morning at the Auguste Delaune stadium at Gaussainville near Paris.

Out of the 24 players expected, Eyong Enoh has been sidelined while 20 were present as they begin part of the preparation of the double confrontation with Niger.

Guy-Roland Ndy-Assembe is expected on Tuesday while the two Matip brothers and Tony Tchani are injured.

The workout of the day according to the Team press officer, consisted of a muscle toning followed by a short play session in small areas, ending with a minor game in a camp against one.

"It was a dense and intense workout. Players began to follow the course set by the national coach. So they took the workout seriously. The first session of Alexandre Belinga is already generating optimism," said Vincent De Paul Atangana.
