Lions ‘A: Two training courses for local players

Players who have best distinguished themselves in the next national professional championship season would have the chance to be selected by Volker Finke, for the two training sessions provided by FECAFOOT between January and February 2016.

Two courses will be held exclusively for the best local players likely to be integrated into the national senior team of Cameroon.

According to our sources, these two groups would be aimed primarily at creating emulation between local players and those playing abroad and generally convened for the national selection.

So that in case of major injuries, as was the case in the last friendly match between Cameroon - Nigeria (0-3), held in Belgium, the coach Volker Finke "would have plenty of choice to overcome the absences recorded, using local players," said an employee of the body of Cameroonian football.
