Kumbo Strikers continues quest for Cup of Cameroon glory

Kumbo Strikers after a suffering a 1-2 defeat in the away leg were able to pick a ticket for the Cup of Cameroon quarter-finals by thrashing League 2 side, Dynamo FC of Douala at the Tobin stadium 2-0.

The Northwest Division II side was able to frustrate Dynamo’s quest for a fourth Cup of Cameroon trophy.

The Kimbo Boys seem to be drawing inspiration from the 2000 heroics when they took the trophy across the Mungo for the first time.

On their part, Southwest Region lone flag bearer, NQSA fell at home to Douala Athletic Club at the Limbe Centenary Stadium but sailed through on a 3-1 aggregate.

The shocking results of the day was that of the League Two Champs, Dragon FC that were humiliated by Regional League side Ouragan 2-4 after they had enjoyed a 3-1 advantage in the away leg.
