Journalist beaten at the FECAFOOT headquarter by guards

Thierry Ndoh Thierry Ndoh

Thierry Ndoh, a journalist at the RSI radio in Yaounde was beaten up on Monday at the headquarters of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) by local security officials.

Like his other colleagues, journalist Thierry Ndoh went to the headquarters of the Federation to attend the press conference that was to be given by the Director General of the Japan Football Association.

According to the journalist, the situation he experienced on Monday was “encouraged by Robert Depays, visibly on mission” and “were it not for the intervention of some colleagues” the security agents won’t have let go.

According to his colleagues, Thierry Ndoh has never been soft in dealing with cases of FECAFOOT. Whatever the reason, journalists have condemned this barbaric act toward their colleague and some went too far by asking that the press should boycott the activities related to the federation.

The Association of Sports Journalists of Cameroon (AJSC), the promoter of the radio where Ndoh exercises and even the National Union of Journalists of Cameroon (SNJC) have still not reacted to this situation.
