Joseph Owona shields Tombi A Roko Sidiki

"The name of the Secretary-General of the Cameroon football Federation (Fecafoot) is not on the list of creditors caught following an audit", according to Joseph Owona, the Chairman of the Committee for standardization.

The indomitable Lions supporters anticipated that, he would resign from his post following the little Honourable participation of Cameroon at the 20th edition of the World Cup from June 12 to July 13 in Brazil.

This blunder was committed last week. "Massayo" once more decided to trample the rules of law by erasing by subterfuge, the name of his sidekick, Tombi A Roko Sidiki, in the list of creditors and looters of the Cameroon football Federation established by cabinet Barreras and Partners, following an audit by this structure in 2013.

According to reports, dozens of staff of Fecafoot and external partners are at the centre of one of the biggest financial scandals of Cameroonian football. Indeed, after the thorough investigations, individuals were unable to justify the use of more than 250 million CFA francs allocated to employers, directors and partners of the Fecafoot for various missions.

Evidence that some impostors lived actually from the resources of Cameroonian football, they sucked, drained and pressurized the coffers of FECAFOOT " as our colleague Jean Lambert Nang, former CEO of the Fecafoot, said in his book "Desperate football house”.

If the publication of the names of several figures of Fecafoot seems quite normal, then the absence of the name of Tombi A Roko Sidiki, at the centre of all the wheeling and dealing at the federation for more than ten years, is both surprising and incomprehensible.

According to the investigations carried out by the bi-weekly "La Météo", the name of the current SG of the Fecafoot was indeed on the list of creditors of the federation. But, for personal reasons, the Prez Joseph Owona decided to scratch it out from the list.

According to an administrator in Fecafoot, who requested anonymity, by falsifying the list of creditors of the Fecafoot, Joseph Owona wants to allow his "accomplice" to stand for the election in November next to the Fecafoot Presidency.
