Joseph Owona recast technical supervision of the Lions

Joseph Owona, the Chairman of the Committee for Standardization of the Cameroon football Federation has just taken a decision that recasts the technical supervision of the indomitable Lions.

Two weeks ago, Paul Biya, the head of the State of Cameroon signed a decree on the reform of the Statute of the national selections in football.

This Decree saw the creation of the Cameroon football Federation, solely responsible for the national selection flag, thus putting an end to the hybrid status which made the Ministry of sports and the Cameroonian sport umbrella instance to fight for the control of indomitable Lions.

Joseph Owona, the Chairman of the Committee for Standardization of the Fecafoot just corrected a very recent decision of the sports Minister, appointing members of the technical supervision of the indomitable Lions.

“In view of the Decree of 26th September 2014 on the Organization and functioning of national football teams and having regard to the exigencies of service," Joseph Owona sacked Paul Ndanga physical trainer, Philémon Tamo chief physician, Bienvenu Mbida Chief Security and Philippe Atanga Essomba and Gérard Okala physiotherapists.

They were officially replaced Thursday, October 09, 2014 by Christophe Manouvrier (physical trainer), Dr. William Ngatchou (medicine), police Commissioner Dominique Mbazoa (security), Elias Kaleguem and Joseph Zagaba (physiotherapist).

Volker Finke was renewed as national coach just as his assistants, team manager, team press officer, etc.
