Granada set to sign Cmr international Dany Nounkeu

Granada are set to sign Galatasaray defender Dany Nounkeu on loan.

The La Liga sides president confirmed the transfer stating, “We have agreed terms with both Galatasaray and Dany.”

One of Granada's key objectives this summer has been to reinforce their defence.

The Spanish side have also been linked with Toby Alderweireld from Atletico Madrid and Fulham's Fernando Amorebieta.

Galatasaray have been keen to offload Dany this summer due to the foreign player restrictions in the league.

Dany joined Galatasaray from Gaziantepspor for €3.5 million in July 2012. The Cameroon international has two years remaining on this contract.

The 28-year-old defence made nine appearances on loan at Besiktas in the Turkish Super League last season.
