FC Ifeanyi Ubah without Cameroonian Medrano

FC Ifeanyi Ubah will be without Bright Onyedikachi and Cameroonian midfielder Tamen Medrano for today’s Federation Cup tie against Ebonyi United at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri.

Onyedikachi is away on international duty with the Nigeria U23 team, while Medrano has been excused for personal reasons.

However, central defender Adeleye Olaminkan is back to the team after missing the last few games through illness.

Bulgarian coach Mitko Dobrev said the team will approach the cup competition with every serious and will field a strong side, as they would love to win the trophy in other to pick up a continental ticket.

“Our objective is to pick up a continental ticket, and so we will take this tournament seriously as the winners qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup,” he said.

“We would play each game as a final, and so we can say we are five wins away from a continental ticket.”
