Cotonsport Sweats to beat Botafogo 1-0

Cotonsport of Garoua painstakingly beat Botafogo of Douala 1-0 during a late 32nd match of the Cameroon Cup played yesterday at the Amadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaounde.

Douda kamilou saved the team from disgrace at the 80th minute after dominating the encounter for the most part without any opening for a goal.

However, Botafogo gave Cotonsport a hard time threatening their defense and goalkeeper Fedjou Loic on many occasions.

The match was a test for Cotonsport as they move to Mali for their last group game of the Confederation Cup.
