Coton Sport takes tentative lead in Group A

Cameroon lone representative in continental football, Coton Sport have taken the league in group A after a 2-1 victory against their visitors As Real Bamako last Sunday at Roumde Adjia Omnisports stadium in Garoua.

Coton opened scores at the 32nd minute through striker Daouda Kamilou. At the 70th minute, AS Real de Bamako’s Ephraim Yosanguim responded for the Malian side.

Meanwhile, Coton scored the winning goal at the 80th minute to make it 2-1.This victory saw Coton Sport take the lead in group A.

It should be noted that Coton Sport played without key players Loic Feudjou (Goalkeeper),Cedric Djeugoue (Defender).
